Catalyst Academy™ is the online learning platform of Catalyst Commercial Advisory.
Catalyst Academy™ provides online commercial learning and professional development programmes.
Courses may include written learning content, videos, exercises, assessments, downloadable materials, practical applications, certificates and other educational resources.
Course descriptions, content, duration and prices are displayed on the relevant course or product page.
Catalyst Academy™ may update course materials periodically to maintain their relevance, accuracy and quality.
Prices are displayed in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes are calculated and handled through the checkout process. Where prices are displayed as tax-inclusive, the applicable tax is included within the displayed price.
Payment must be successfully completed before access to a paid course is granted unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments are processed through the payment provider made available at checkout. Catalyst Commercial Advisory does not directly store complete payment-card details.
Following successful payment, the purchaser will normally receive confirmation of the transaction and access to the purchased course or digital product.
Course access is provided to the individual learner associated with the account used for purchase or enrolment.
Login credentials are personal and must not be shared with another person.
Unless a course or commercial agreement expressly states otherwise, purchasing one course place provides access for one individual learner only.
Organisations wishing to purchase access for multiple learners should arrange the appropriate number of licences or places.
Catalyst Academy™ may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of account sharing, unauthorised distribution of materials, fraudulent activity or serious misuse of the platform.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the course content and learning materials made available through Catalyst Academy™ are owned by or licensed to Catalyst Commercial Advisory.
This includes, where applicable, text, course structures, frameworks, graphics, exercises, assessments, downloadable materials, videos, presentations, models and Catalyst-branded learning concepts.
Catalyst Academy™ and associated Catalyst learning materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, resold or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
Purchasing a course grants the learner a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the materials for their own learning and professional development.
Purchase does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
Learners may use Catalyst Academy™ materials for their own personal and professional development.
Unless written permission has been provided, learners may not:
- share account access with another person;
- reproduce or distribute substantial course content;
- upload course materials to another platform or shared repository;
- resell or sublicense course materials;
- use Catalyst Academy™ materials to create competing training products;
- remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices; or
- record, copy or redistribute protected course content for commercial purposes.
Reasonable reference to learning principles in the learner's own professional work is permitted, provided this does not amount to reproduction or redistribution of the course itself.
Certain Catalyst Academy™ courses include knowledge checks, assessments or certificates of completion.
Where an assessment requires a minimum passing score, the applicable requirement will be stated within the course.
A certificate confirms completion of the relevant Catalyst Academy™ learning requirements. It does not represent a regulated academic qualification, professional licence or statutory accreditation unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Catalyst Academy™ reserves the right to withhold or revoke a certificate where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse or deliberate circumvention of assessment requirements.
Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to applicable exceptions.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, Spanish consumer legislation provides an exception once supply has begun where the consumer has given prior express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period, acknowledged that this results in loss of the right of withdrawal, and the trader has provided the required confirmation. BOE
Where Catalyst Academy™ provides immediate access to digital course content following purchase, the checkout process may therefore ask the purchaser to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge the resulting effect on the statutory right of withdrawal.
Where those legal requirements have been satisfied and access to the digital content has begun, the statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
Where the statutory right of withdrawal remains applicable, consumers generally have 14 calendar days to exercise it in accordance with applicable law. BOE
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where a purchaser retains a statutory right to withdraw or is otherwise legally entitled to a refund, Catalyst Commercial Advisory will process the refund in accordance with applicable law.Where immediate digital access has begun after the purchaser has provided the legally required consent and acknowledgement concerning the loss of the withdrawal right, a refund will not normally be available merely because the learner changes their mind.
This does not affect rights relating to digital content or services that are defective, not supplied as described or otherwise do not conform to applicable legal requirements.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact:
info@catalystcommercialadvisory.com
with your name, purchase information and reason for the request.
Catalyst Commercial Advisory aims to maintain reliable access to Catalyst Academy™, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, updates or circumstances involving third-party technology providers.
Catalyst Commercial Advisory may make reasonable changes to course content, platform functionality or learning materials where these changes improve, update or maintain the service and do not materially deprive the learner of the product purchased.
If a purchased product is permanently discontinued in circumstances that materially affect the learner's rights, an appropriate remedy will be provided where required by applicable law.
Catalyst Academy™ provides educational and professional-development content.
Course materials are intended to develop commercial knowledge, skills, behaviours and professional capability.
They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting or other regulated professional advice.
Results will depend on many factors, including the learner's circumstances, experience and application of the material. Completion of a Catalyst Academy™ course therefore does not guarantee particular commercial, employment, career or financial outcomes.
Learners are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account or completing a purchase.
Learners are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity conducted through their account.
Users must not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of Catalyst Academy™, gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

The Privacy Policy should be read separately from these Terms & Conditions and should explain the applicable legal bases, retention periods, recipients/processors and data-subject rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, Catalyst Commercial Advisory is not responsible for losses arising solely from decisions made by learners based on their individual application of educational material, or for circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in this section limits the learner's statutory rights regarding conformity of digital content or digital services.
Catalyst Commercial Advisory may suspend or terminate a learner's access where there has been a serious or repeated breach of these Terms & Conditions, including unauthorised account sharing, unlawful use, fraud or material infringement of intellectual-property rights.Where appropriate, reasonable notice will be provided before access is terminated, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or protection of the platform or other users.Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes to Catalyst Academy™, business operations or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to a purchase will normally be the version in force at the time the purchase is made, except where a later change is required by law or is otherwise validly applicable.
The current version and effective date will be published online.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply to consumers residing in another jurisdiction.
